Description EDIT: Lightened her skin tone, Amalthea is just so pale lol... Also, better photo! Yay!

Amalthea (human form of The Last Unicorn)

Sorry for the flash - she does have violet eyes and the pinkish star on her forehead.

I lightened her skin for contrast with the rest of the leather.
Yellow white and pearl wash for her hair to give it that pale pale pale pale yellow hue from the movie, yet still the shimmer of magic.

Dress is purple-tones, layered with sheer sleeves. Semi-redesign of her dress in the movie as well.

I'm pretty happy with her

Thank you!! It's a leather carving. You wet your hide, trace your pattern once you've laid it out, then cut the lines, tool the lines, colour, etc.

You're welcome... thx for asking....er...wrote and edited 50 pages including some time consuming diagrams of braiding machine principles.... in the last 6 weeks... eeek! The real work comes when I have to figure out a glossary, index and bibliography for it... ah well only another 400 or so pages to go.... (some will be much quicker than the last 50...) P.

btw: It's not like a novel where you make the rules(sigh)
