Alternate themed costumes for Cole yaay! I should have posted these ages ago as the lineart is actually quite old (like... first game old), but if took a contest over at #inFAMOUSFans to get off my butt and color and post them.In my brain the costumes are this way because Cole "allied" with a different faction, and got a new look and power to boot. So Alternate Universe fanart if you will.
First Sons Cole! Even though, to be honest, his color scheme is godawful boring gray and white, his lineart was always my favorite and he continues to be my fave (with Reaper Cole in close second) but that could be some Kessler love bleeding into everything so don't listen to me I could be contagious.
I wanted to give him this sort of weaponized look, so I made him really symmetrical. The whole face mask is based off of Kessler's metal arm combined with the gas masks a lot of the First Sons wear. My logic is that it lets Cole breath super dry charged air or something to up his shocking abilities. Also his gloves give him extra prescision, which is basically his special power. Being REALLY REALLY good at sniping people with lightning. Also Kessler powers. Like teleporting. Probably.
His lightning is white.

Bizarelly, I'd imagine it in the story...
Kessler took me under his wing, and accelerated the progress of my powers better than anything else could. But slowly, I begun to understand why. One night, he told me everything: his past,his nemesis, and his true identity...and he told me IT was coming...soon

And then he died. Leaving the fate of this world in my hands...

I really like this one, it's kind of simple but not too simple, and it's a really awesome idea. And I actually like the color scheme, the yellow adds some nice contrast to the rest of the picture

...Yeah actually! He'd need a better dash of proper color methinks to complete it Mirror's Edge proper. Maybe yellow or a nice blue... Someone entered a Sly Cooper costume and it turns out Cole looks sharp in blue and yellow!
