Evidently drawing gore is very much preferable to bothering to try to sleep.

This is supposed to have that... sort of... bizarre dreamlike feel in general, but whether it does or not, I don't know. Doing the weird flowy proportions was fun, as well as the colouring, so I'm good. eue

I love this one! The idea, pose and colours are excellent, but the thing I like most has to be the detail you got in due to the focus being on a specific part of the character (rather than a fully-body drawing which, in my eyes, normally ends up sacrificing details for a glimpse at overall appearance). Seeing this in fullview is excellent, I love the texturing of the material over Cyra's arms and the blood spattered all over. I can see the thicker lines drawn to give a sense of depth, too, which is awesome. The colours and composition are very striking, and the fact you've drawn focus to this instead of drawing her entirely really draws attention to the sheer horrifying nature of the fact she's enjoying all that blood, gore and her dream.

Awesome work, it's great to see something so striking, even if creepy in nature (but pft, that's just Cyra now, isn't it?).

Thank you! This one was a very quick drawing inspired by the sudden need to draw... well... something that really fit into the Macabre & Horror category, after I'd finished 'Apologies' beforehand. I'm really enjoying trying to get the hang of creating textures with marker, the only piece of this picture I used pencil in was her hair, I believe. I tried something different and inked her using a calligraphy pen, the lines are a bit messy but this picture gives me hope I might be able to use the technique properly eventually. When I pause to think about it, it is rather horrific... Cyra's such a... happy monster! |8(
