Description The Ancient Prasat Ta Prohm, nestled deep in dense Cambodian jungle, illuminated by the soft sunlight spilling through the canopy above. Built in the 12th Century, this place is full of history which is felt as soon as you step foot in the complex. It is the biggest monuments in the Angkor complex, and easily one of the most spectacular sights in Cambodia.

There is just something so ethereal about standing beneath the fig, banyan and kapok trees, as they intertwine their roots and expand high above the ruins. The trees are almost camouflaged against the mossy green stone pillars as you stare up at the towering vines draping down from the branches. You get a true sense of the untouched wonder that this place possesses, only walking tracks to allow visitors have been developed, the rest is left to nature. I instantly fell in love with how serene and beautiful this place is, having got to experience it all to myself in the rain was unbelievable, so special that it was difficult to walk away after I was finished photographing.

Hello, featured your wonderful work here
.summer.

Kein Hoffen lohnet mich mit Schmerz;
Da wo ich bin, da bin ich gerne,
Denn meine Heimat ist
