So it probably helps to just study a birds wing? It seems really hard to color and shade though...how do you color a white wing? I mean, you showed us how to color a black one, is it the same way? Would you use greys for the shadows or something? Sorry for my questions!

never use black or pure grey to make shadows, better use colors. Is the same, you use some brigth color-grey to make shades, and some color dodge to make lights ^^

Ah right my teacher says instead of using pure black to either use shades like purple, blue or even brown.
