Basically I need them about that size to balance the picture... but they don't feel entirely right

Let me see.... mmmh, the size is right... but the angle looks a little hard (too straight), bird's wings are a little more angled...as you can see here [link]
I really like the feathers and the size, as i say, looks fine to me (weeeh i love BIG BIG wings XDDD bigger then better =3.. the last angel i draw has huuuge ones [link] but i love big wings since ever (1998 XD [link] ))
