A lot of these have some pretty imposing names - I take it that oviraptorosaurs are the dominant predators here?

Some of the Oviraptoriformes are predatory, but most are rather aggressive, territorial omnivores. They fill niches that on Our Earth are taken by pigs, bears, hyenas and large mustelids. The caenagnathiformes lean more towards herbivory. The pilosavids and daemonostrigids are actually large browsing herbivores, somewhat similar to gorillas or gigantopithecus. Daemonostrigids, especially when seen in low light conditions, are very unsettling to look at. Combining a 10ft tall, almost vertical posture with a shaggy coat and large forward facing eyes gives the impression that you’ve just seen Mothman!

Or maybe they are just very very bad at being chickens.

Or that! One family are literally called terrible chickens (Deinogallidae)
