Ah. Erratic diagonal motion with the pen, with varying pressure. It's hard to describe the exact technique, as it's mostly something I know how to do from muscle memory, but that's the basic idea.

Yep. I use a pressure-sensitive drawing tablet, so by putting more or less pressure on the pen, I get lines of varying thickness.

I see.. as for the arms to.. I think you need to show it's bulk when transformaing.. say like the sleeves start to rip... or so...
