well i tried it out. cause i really needed to make up my own brush and while doing that part about clearing brush presets, did it word for word... and now all my brushes are screwed up lol i cant get anything back. i did load what i found in folders, but its all totally different ... ._. oh well... still a very cool tutorial with the ink blots and all becoming brushes.

wow this is great! but once you're done, how do you submit them as brushes on deviantart so others can use them?

hey, sorry for the late reply, I haven't been on dA too much. You've probably found the answer by now but just in case you haven't, this process will save a .abr file in your
C:/Program Files/Adobe/Photoshop/Presets/Brushes
You just upload that abr file to the appropriate category.

I didn't upload my brushes. The files are too big, I couldn't be bothered waiting that long for it to upload.

how do I go about posting a brush pack here? (I use ps 3)
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
Duffzilla In reply to Zephyr13 [2008-05-24 19:12:36 +0000 UTC]
when you save your brush pack it will create a .abr file in your PS folder.
It should be something like C:/ProgramFiles/Adobe/Photoshop/Presets/Brushes
upload the .abr file to dA in the right category and provide a sample jpg to be used as the thumbnail.
