My kinda rushed entry for a Thunderdome challenge on conceptart.org.Theme was Gods at War, so here's the Egyptian Gods Horus and Set during their infamous battle, in which Horus loses an eye! Fun stuff..

I really like this! Poor Hawkman Horus!! Looks like he's going to be getting blood in his eyes. haha!
I must ask a question, this has been bugging me since time before cookies... Is Set surpossed to have a crocodile head or is it not an animal but something werid.

Set's head is that of an unknown creature, supposedly looking sort of like an aardvark/jackal hybrid. :3 So yes, something weird!

You know, I was browsing for a Horus picture, and this is one of my favorite Egyptian gods images I've seen on the DA. Really, it's just very good imagery, and one of my favorite stories, too.

As an Egyptian I feel I must say...
This is absolute Aces! Muscle tone and flow, perspective, mood... I'm loving this piece. Horus' body seems to disappear a bit abruptly into the sand(?) though, but still, aces.

At least in the end, after takeing his uncle, Set's, manly bits, and then jizzing on some lettus that Set eats and Poor Set haveing Thoth grow inside him, planted there by Horus's "seed"....

Poor Set.. As if eating seeds his entire life wasn't bad enough, now he's lost an eye. If theres anything we can learn from this, it's not to wear Bird Masks when fighting, Or better yet, wear an iron mask /over/ your bird face. Or better yet, throw sand at them and run away screaming. 👍: 0 ⏩: 1
