Art for my book, Hawk Divine. Now available in paperback and on Kindle.‘It takes darkness to face darkness,’ his bass voice rumbled; his eyes like white hot coals. Written and fully illustrated by yours truly, Hawk Divine features my eight Egyptian Gods portrait series, as well as previously unseen work. Eight short stories unfold in a modern context, exploring aspects of each of the eight deities presented. Syncretic, supernatural and definitely different, I really hope you enjoy it!

Set should get more love. the dude's probably as vindicated as Adramalech. I'm curious as to why you chose the phoenix to represent him, but for some reason... it's very fitting.

Set is very worthy of respect and love. An unloved darkness is the worst possible foe where an ally could be.
The phoenix is just so him, it's a gut feeling more than anything.

Wow. Very well-done piece! Love the splash of cool colors in the middle of all the warm ones. I also love the quote you chose to go with it, from the Egyptian Book of the Dead. It's very powerful.
