Wow! Thanks for the info! Great job, man. One question: why do you put the color layer on a quick mask. I don't use the mask to apply my color, however, I was wondering if that can be benenefial.

i just use the mask so i can basically "color within the lines". the mask keeps things from bleeding over.

photoshop! i used cs4, but you can get the same results with the 10 year old version 7.0 too.
