I was working on a new piece recently that involved serpenty looking creatures and decided to do some experimenting with the mixer brush technique that's been floating around for the past few months (check out Reid Southen's video here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vcz5Fh…So Richard Tran, Crystal Sully, and I smashed our heads together and came up with this; a nifty little way to get some quick scale patterns. You can see the result down at the very bottom, but I suggest going through the rest of the tutorial first so you can get an idea of how the whole thing works. Enjoy!
