Bio card: R4-G9 is an astromech droid that accompanies Obi-Wan Kenobi on a mission to the sinkhole planet of Utapau, where Obi-Wan hopes to destroy General Grievous, the supreme commander of the Separatist droid armies.
R4-G9 is quite the mystery droid. although she's Obi-Wan's first droid. she was given to him by aayla secura. this droid seem to been placed in storage very often, seeing that both aayla secura and obi-wan often used their other droids, such as QT-KT and R4-P17. even when she was reunited with obi-wan, she was quickly separated from him. it's unknown what became of her after order 66.
this droid was the beginning of a great function for all astromech droids. such as, when you turn her head, her middle leg moves up and down depending on the turning. I consider it as a great feature for a toy. sadly, it was only featured on R2 droids and on R3 & R4 droids that used R2 domes. later on, this great feature was abandoned and replaced with the "build a droid" or "droid factory" version, which disappointed a lot of fans. but we all make mistakes.
if i were to rate this action figure, i would give it a 10/10.

bio card: Just as Owen Lars purchases this battle-worn astromech droid, the droid’s motivator blows a fuse. Disgruntled and dissatisfied, Owen asks for another R2 unit and selects R2-D2 after C-3PO recommends his services. Little does Owen know that his seemingly simple droid selection will turn out to determine the fate of the galaxy...
some say that R2-D2 sabotaged R5-D4. but others say that he sacrificed himself. me, i just say that R2-D2 was only trying to fix R5 mostly because R2 has seen a lot of innocent droids getting destroyed. and while he was fixing the droid, the two of them became friends. but when Luke and owen bought him, R5 refuse to go but was ordered. hearing R2 begging to be bought, he sacrifice himself so r2 can be bought and save the galaxy. for years everyone said he died entirely, but thanks to mandalorian, he got a new home. let's hope one day he and r2-d2 can be reunited.
like R4-G9. this figure of R5-D4 was the main basic for all R5 to have the same cast. with a feature that by turning his head, the motivator will bob up and down. despite this action figure being given a scenery of when he and r2 were in the lineup. the texture of the droid is based on his episode 2 appearance than his episode 4 appearance. this is obvious since the back of this figure, he doesn't have his red rectangles. something that he did had in episode 4.
it's very difficult to decide the rating, if you prefer the episode 2 version, then it's a 10/10. if you prefer the episode 4 version and are furious at the error hasbro made, then its a 8/10. me, i just give it a 9/10 instead.

Bio card: An astromech droid on Queen Amidala’s Royal Starship, R2-B1 is one of the droids that tries to repair the ship’s damaged shield generator. As the starship attempts to get through the Trade Federation blockade, R2-B1 and another droid are destroyed by enemy fire, leaving only R2-D2 to complete the task.
some droids are barely visible on screen, those droids rarely gets any luck or attention due to fan finding them hard to see. this is not the case with r2-b1, unlike the others, R2-B1 was the droid to get the most attention. seeing that he got 3 figures and even a Funko POP! Star Wars: R2-B1 Vinyl Bobble-Head. it's quite unusual, although he appeared in 4 screen, he can be considered as barely visible when looked on the old screen tv. despite this however. it's interesting that he got the most figure of the 5 droids on queen padme amidala's royal naboo J-type 327 nubian starship. He even got his own audio recording.
as for this figure. i say this is the best version hasbro had produced. unlike the other 2 version, i like how this one uses the same cast r4-g9 introduced and it introduced the astromech harness that was later used for others. the only problem i had is that the back rectangle is gray, instead of blue. it's unknown why this error was made, but i guess they did it to make it more detailed.
if i were to rate this figure, i give it 9/10. if the back rectangle was blue, i would of given it 10/10.
i usually nickname this trio as "the animated trio" due to me finding them at the first time i went to an anime convention. i rarely separate them, so these 3 must always stick together. next time, i will talk about R5-F7, R2-L3 and R2-Q5.
all star wars figures are owned by me.
