Bio card: R2-KT was created in 2005 to honor Katie Johnson, a very special little girl who trgaically passed away from brain cancer on August 9, 2005 at the age of seven. Her father, Albin Johnson, is the founder of the 501st Legion, a Star Wars costuming fan club that performs charity work around the world. Katie had a special wish: to visit Walt Disney World. Through the generosity of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Katie's wish was granted. Then one more special dream came true. Katie's sister, Allie, was inspired one day while watching Attack Of The Clones, in which R2-D2 watches over the sleeping Padmé. Allie thought how great it would be if Artoo could watch over Katie while she underwent treatment, and for the droid to be named "KT" after her sister. The R2 Builders Club made Allie's idea a reality by creating a unique R2 unit especially for Katie. The 501st Legion approached Hasbro with the idea of producing a figure to commemorate R2-KT. This inspired Hasbro and Lucasfilm to help make more wishes come true for children like Katie. Hasbro and Lucasfilm together are donating $100,000 in Katie's memory to the Make-A-Wish Foundations of South Carolina and San Diego.
On rare occasions, a fan made character gets to appear in canon. Some are a bit bland due to them not having much of a story, others are mostly forced into appearing due to the developer liking the character. But there’s one character that everyone respect the most, due to her being an honor to the girl who battled against cancer, and that’s R2-KT. The fourth astromech droid to be female (first being R4-P17, second being R4-P22 and third being R4-G9).
Now as for this action figure, I have to say that she’s very special, not only because of her backstory, but because she cheers sick kids at the hospital a long with R2-D2 by her side. I almost bought her in 2007, but I pick R4-G9, R5-D4 and R2-B1 over her, due to the total of them being the same price as R2-KT, but I finally have her and I have all 3 mayor female astromech droids. She’s also the best representation to the clone wars movie, due to it being her first appearance in canon.
If I were to rate this toy, I give her a 10/10. There’s no flaw or errors on her, she’s perfect.

Bio card: Astromech droids repair the Naboo Royal Starship. The shield generator and hyperdrive are damaged while escaping the Trade Federation's blockade of Naboo. The droids fix the generator, but the hyperdrive is too badly damaged. The ship is forced to land on the remote world of Tatooine to find a replacement part.
Sometimes, the wiki doesn’t make sense, there are droids that get cut from the films, yet they get the legends or canon pages, while droids like R2-N3, who can be seen in 2 scenes on the movie, gets called as legends only. It’s unknown why, but it’s likely due to him not being seen getting shot on screen like G8-R3, R2-B1 and R2-R9. What’s more is that hasbro wanted R2-A6 on the set over R2-N3, but was changed when fans demanded that they wanted R2-N3. His toy is the only thing he has, so let’s be grateful for it. he originally had a backstory that explain that he and R2-M5 went to the left side of the j-type 327 nubian ship to fix an imbalance, but both were destroyed. while R2-M5 is now a legend character (not to be confused by R2-D1), R2-N3 deserves a canon and legend page.
As for this figure, I ordered him on eBay, meaning that he came without his harness, card or card holder. Grateful that hasbro decided to go with N3 over A6, I’m happy that I got all 5 astromech droids that were owned by queen Padmé Amidala. However, there’s still one more to go. Anyway, there are two flaws on his action figure, first being that his back has a gray rectangle, while in the movie it’s white. The other flaw is that his processor status indicator is not colored on, unlike the others that has it. I’m still happy to have him on my team
If I were to rate his action figure, I give him a 9/10. If he was colored properly, I would’ve given him a 10/10.
So that’s it for now, I don’t know who would be the next droid, but for now, I have R1-g4, R3-S6 and r5-g19 on the top of my list to find.
Action figures are own by me, both characters belong to lucasfilm star wars
