The Furroot is a adaptable Esparto grass adapted to thrive in arid conditions, rocky terrain and even in dense forests. Once a seedling finds either a tree or a rocky area it will send out thick roots, and begin growing its first few leaves. The roots are fast growing and have not yet acquired some of the plants more notable characteristics. Once the roots find an area to get water or nutrients they begin taking on there more familiar forms. They become thick and woody to discourage root eaters like Gunes, and further grow small thin white leaves that cover the entirety of the roots to resist sun light, these leaves being bitter tasting. there roots will spread out very far, making it look like a small green clump surrounded by tendrils of apparently white fur. They still rely on wind pollination, though have a fruit adapted to attract a specialised group of Tahurs called "Rock Stalkers" who have exquisite vision and are able to pick out the colourful fruit that is in the midst of many close together leaves.
