Nyoia trees are a variety of argan which grows in the Scritean Hills and Puddlelands of Frijol Isle. They form a dense forest up in the highlands, where conditions are rockier and rainier overall. However, they are pefectly capable of handling the wet soils of the lowlands, albeit growing more sparsely between the puddles. The flowers of the nyoia are pale cream in color and pollinated variously by bats, domas, and arga. Their roots are strong, winding and bending around boulders. Fruits develop all year long but in less quantities, supporting a small population of treebats known as spectrels. They are its only disperser of seeds. The fruit itself is green and sometimes speckled, with a soft flesh and a mild taste. it can get chilly in the winter, however it is not really known to snow there as it is lower in elevation as compared to mountains on Nueva Ibiza and Montejoja.
