Yeah, the service was down for over a day.
Working now... You may need to restart Rainmeter.

You need to find the weather code or your location; weather.codes/ or from www.weather.com
It will be a 8-character code: USNY0997, MLXX0002, etc.
Right-click the skin. Select "Settings" from the context menu. This will open your editor with the variable listed. Find "WeatherLocation=...." and change the value to the right of the equal sign to your code. Save the file, close the editor. Refresh the skin.

It may be easier to correct the skin you currently use...
Can you post a link to it and let me know what issues are giving you grief?
I may look at creating a version with the style you show, but that will not happen for some time...

Looks good! Glad you were able to convert it...
I ran the other skin with my location for a day and never had an issue, so not sure what caused your issue, but hopefully your conversion works better for you.

Yes, AntiAlias=1 will smooth the edges. I did not modify very much of the original code as far as appearance goes, I simply converted the measures to use TWC.
Glad to hear you were able to achieve the conversion.

Go to "weather.codes/ " and enter your city into the search. Find your code in the list and then edit theΒ "@ Resources\Variables.ini" file in the skin. Enter the code from that website as the value for "WeatherLocation; e.g.; WeatherLocation={yourcode} Save the file and refresh your weather skin.

It appears that the author's account is no longer active...
Once before they decided to shut it down, so you may need to wait and see if they reopen it at a later date.
