Description
I don't feel I could progress much more in this one, so I'm calling it done. It's a bit messier than usual, but I kind of like it that way.Favorite part: Dagger (Even though I failed to make it symmetrical at the handle)
Least favorite part: Background / Hair
Thank you for your continuous support, even though I have not been particularly active as of late.

I think the hair and background are nice! Can't manage to see why you don't like them. The only thing that could bother me, if I really searched for something to criticize, is the dager tied to her belt. Doesn't seem to go with the style of the rest of the image.

Let me know when you're doing commissions again xD if it's not too much trouble.

I LOVE THIS!!!!
Initially I started watching your work for the manga style but now I'm loving this style far more. Mostly because it's harder to do and it's more elegant in looks. (That sounds odd but i'm not very good with words today.)

That makes me really happy, thank you! My preferred style has somewhat evolved over time, but every so often I still doodle with an incredibly manga style, haha. I feel that this style still has elements of the doe-eyed manga person, but has some realistic components for enhancement. I'm sure I have lost watchers for this change, but gained some for it too. I'm just glad to hear that you enjoy both, like I do!

I suppose it's the colours that give it those elements. The realism within it is re~ally hard to do (a lot of practice anyway.) I suppose in a way those watchers haven't yet fully opened their eyes to the variety of art yet, but in another way they've chosen to restrict themselves to it.... I think... >..>
I like the colour palette you've used too.
I like both styles but I'm getting a bit bored with drawing manga a lot. It'd be nice if I could do more realism, but it seems even with life drawing I'm not really getting any better at it.

Sometimes I like subdued colors, and other times I ache for a bright and bold palette! Every time I finish, I wish for the other, haha. /grassisgreenerontheotherside
I guess some people are more interested in specific styles. I enjoy a wide range of art styles and media; I really admire craftwork with metals and clay! Some people's photography skills are really great, too. :') Artists are so talented in different areas.
Every time I try to do a more serious manga drawing, it always ends up really weird-looking to me and then I end up making it too derpy or too realistic. As for realism drawings, you could always slowly make the transition; just keep morphing things little by little, and make lots of observations of shapes and light! People are hard to draw; it may be of use to practice shading and color selections on still life or animals.
