You should do a copic tutorial, too... Because quite frankly... I can't ever achieve the results I want, and yours are quite gorgeous. But this, this is definitely useful to artists. You have such wonderful style.

cool this is realy useful!! never thought of using masking fluid like that, so as your wash doesnt go into you figure. ive actually been pondering how to do that for my art project lol ^-^ thanx

Masking fluid could have been useful in a few situations... I've been using tape.

You didn't say what kind of paint you used for the white ... is it proper acrylic? like the thick sludgey stuff you get in big plastic bottles?

Very interesting... You do this in a very unique way. ^-^ I've heard of wetting the paper before, but I've never done it in every step for everything in the painting. .-. Works very well for you though, and it makes a very neat effect. ^-^

The trick with the frisket is awesome O.o never ever heard of it...but in other hand...I never saw frisket for sale around here -_- I don't even know if it has the same name here in portugal...i'll try to look

Once I get enough money to get a few acrylics and such I think I'll give this tutorial a real go of it. I've never had any real idea what I was doing with watercolours before so I never looked into it much. Thanks so much for doing this.

Wow, incredibly helpful. I usually stray from refs, I hate photorealists, it seems like cheating to me. XD But, I guess for inspiration and accuracy I might start using them. Very indepth tutorial, I will use it the next time I watercolor. ^^
