it's now called "gump point" was used in the movie forest gump - this is were he ends his run and decides to go home.
i love driving this road - never gets boring !
i'm headed there in a month for 10 days - but will spend most of my time on cedar mesa - west of blanding, ut

I remember the scene and I really think this section of road is just as iconic of the area as The Mittens in Monument Valley itself. I know if seen this view used in comercials.
