Here's a little thing I just HAD to draw. The Amazing Spider-Man issues 31-33 make up an arc called "If This Be My Destiny" and I honestly can't tell you enough how much I love this arc. It's a story that shows the raw determination to do good that makes Peter Parker the world's best superhero. Steve Ditko creates a kind of visual opera out of a guy lifting something heavy and I can't understand how he came up with such great panels to do it. You as a reader feel every ounce of pain and effort that goes into the feat and the monologue captures the feeling of lifting the weight of the world on his shoulders. I fell in love with ASM comics with this run an so here's my attempt to recreate the great panels from the hero's finest hour.
