Here's Ming. 's loveable bubbly robo-OC. I wanted to practice my Paint-fu with this one so here's my first ever, fully digital piece of art. This was fun and so is Ming!Sorry if I made Ming look kinda evil.

Wow, now that is some amazing Paint-fu!! You know, I would never look at this and think it was your first fully digital drawing. It's got great confidence in the line work, and you even thought about adding different widths (there in her ears and the bottom lip, for instance) and colored lines (her eyes). Rare's the time newbies think ahead like that. And your shading and lighting are sharp! Damn man, not only did you come to play the game seriously but you're swinging for the fences! This makes me extremely excited to see your second piece. Awesome job~
By the way, she's so spunky looking, I love it! I don't see any evil either, besides the usual ornery attitude you get from kids.

Its a good thing I got to know some fantastic digital artists whose works gave me a good sense of how to start! The great thing about digital art is that all the tools are right there for you. Need a thicker paintbrush? CLICK. Need to use a precise coulour? CLICK. Need to make a perfectly round circle? CLICK! It's easy to see why so many artists enjoy this stuff so much. I will most definitely end up doing another one!

Aw tanks, meng! The program is a lot less frustrating to work with when you base the drawing off of some sketch, but it's still pretty good otherwise. I am really excited to see yours!
