Please don't kill me, guys...After breaking promise after promise, EDLima3 rises from the trashcan to bring you all the NEXT PAGE of the battle everyone forgot about!! Pencils were sharpened! Naps were postponed! THINGS WERE DONE!!
The smoke has settled and what it reveals is the debris-filled ruins of Mage's Castle. Two men, tired and bloody stand before eachother with nothing left to lose but the battle itself. With no energy left for magic nor teleportation, 's Takeo Yuto and 's Virgil have no choice but put their fists up and charge forward...

I was all prepared to kill youβbut how can I now after you uploaded ALL THESE BLOODY MAGNIFICENT PAGES?! Oh my gawd, it would be a sad, sad loss if you were unable to finish this badass comic! Although I'm still quite lime-green jelly of your anatomy skills, not to mention you keep on improving with every page and panel. These boys are perfectly drawn and quite daring and handsome there, while goin' at each others' throats.
AND DAYUUUM! I like how you return us to the fight. There's a lull (a mimic of the break between uploads) but it's really tense so we know it ain't over yet. Trash talking is a great way to add dialogue but build on the taut feelings and death glares, as well as show character. Gotta love Virgil's street-smart attitude, and Takeo's deadly mage-warrior silence.Β
Anyway, I was all kinds of excited to see these pages in my Notifications, and I am super happy to see you arting again!! *throws confetti*Β Β

But thank you so much! Like I said to Kakkoi, this entire comic as been a great source of improvements for both of us. It's been a sort of fun little proving-ground for myself and I'm just happy to see people enjoy it.
Thank you for catching this! I didn't want to just jump right into it because it'd be a little jarring for you guys after months of hiatus. I figured it might be better to do a teensy bit of recap under the guys of talking smack (plus Takeo was already doing it on page 23).

Oh gawd, I don't even like to think about writing my will. I don't blame you for procrastinating there. Of course, though, you're always welcome, my friend! I'm glad you and Kakkoi have had so much fun with this AU comic, because that's the best way to learn, I think. Who wants to challenge themselves and draw if it feels like a chore, you know? And the best way to grow is practice, practice, practice. You guys certainly have improved and shown all of us you got what it takes to draw (and write) a great comic!! So again, I'm glad to see you guys back to work~
Forgive my late reply. No procrastination here, just busy (and dreaming for so much extra time I can get lazy XD). And in the same vein I do mean to catch up with the rest of the pages, plus your introduction of Paradox. There's a lot I wanna comment on because the work and effort is outstanding!Β
That was great writing! I mean, everyone loves a good smack-talk scene to lighten the beat-down, but it was thoughtfully added and I commend you for planning ahead.

But this comic was absolutely great way to push ourselves. I still hold a few fond memories of "YOOOOooooo! That's a good idea!!" moments that came with planning this fight. Bouncing ideas back and forth with Kakkoi was my first real moment of artistic collaboration and it was a blast.
I'm very much in a similar boat when it comes to lacking free time. I try to grasp any moment of peace and quiet I can get, but often times I'm really exhausted or not in the mental mood to draw or even think about art after dealing with work and school and family and such. Honestly, I would prefer you take your time catching up cause I know that backlog pressure can be a heavy feeling. I too have loads and loads of artwork to look at and I'm sorry for taking so long to get back to you!

And honestly I've been feeling so demotivated and lazy lately that I'm starting to have my own moment ofΒ Some say he's still running... Β The struggle, it is real.
Aww, that's so awesome to hear! It's no wonder this comic turned out as rip-roaring as it did, since you both were super-stoked to collaborate! Oh yeah, it's definitely exciting to work in tandem with another creator, bouncing ideas back and forth, and especially on something like this crossover because it involves characters belonging to each of you. That's just fun, getting to explore not only Virgil, but Takeo too (and how they view each other). I'm sure not only did you guys grow as artists, but you got some cool development for the boys too! XD

Being creative is definitely harder than one might imagine, and having to deal with the rest of life, and the world, really does put a damper on things. I feel ya.
