Description November 2018

(Forgive the poor scan quality).

Fortunian automobiles are flexible, just like the planes (and train) you've seen in my gallery. Unlike aircraft, they do not have the advantage of using wings as limbs. However, by bending their axles and suspension, they can walk on their wheels to navigate off-road.

I modeled these off my own beloved Toyota. Here in America, it was called a Yaris. However, in other parts of the world, it is known as a Vios or a Belta. The 2012 model (my car) was the last year of the original body style and the last year it was sold in the US. In America, a completely different car has adopted the Yaris name. However, newer versions of the original vehicle still exist elsewhere in the world under their Vios and Belta titles.

Characters, fortunian species, and art belong to me   You must ask permission and give credit for their use.

My family owns a 2007 Yaris sedan. It's dark grey and has well over 200,000 miles on it. We got it when it was new. My dad drove it, then me, and now my sister owns it. It's showing its age, but it's done well for us.

Mine is black and getting close to 90,000 miles. It was two years old when we bought it with just over 33,000 miles. (It was a rental car in its young life). One of the interior plastic pieces just kinda pops off now. :/ And I need to replace the battery sooner than later. Otherwise, it's in good shape. My dad hated the flimsy hubcaps so much, he went and bought new wheels (He doesn't even drive it, but whatever floats his boat). It's amazing what a huge difference that made - it looks like a much nicer car. I also ordered a grille from Thailand - it's (fake) carbon fiber.

Huh. As long as it works, you're golden. The car I drive now has close to 206,000 miles.

Then I think it's safe to say mine has plenty of travels left.

If you treat it right, certainly. You treat anything right, it'll last practically forever.

Yeah. It's ironic, their slogan was 'moving forward.' Probably changed to 'moving forward uncontrollably' after gas pedals got stuck. There was one incident in California where the gas pedal was stuck on a Lexus with four people in it. They couldn't stop, they reached the end of the highway while going at 125mph, they flew off the road, the car blew up, and now they're all dead. Then again, GM with the ignition switch catastrophe wasn't any better. Something like 100 people died and many more were injured when their cars would suddenly turn off while driving. All over a ten cent piece that wasn't fitted.

Anyway, if you're looking for reliability, Toyota and Honda are excellent choices.

They sure are. I just replaced my battery. Turns out, it was the original factory battery, nearly seven years old and still not completelly dead. If their other parts are that good, I'm sold.

Batteries should be replaced whenever their warranty expires. But I guess if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

This is likely how a NBM airport vehicle may be like (minus the upside down part).

I don’t drive right now, however my parents and I already have a goal for 2019 in place for me to start driving and getting a license. Whenever I get my first Car, I’m thinking of Getting a Chevy Spark. Plus I already have a nickname for it, Sparky. And I’m already used to that Backup Camera. I did research and they do have an online driving class specifically for IDD, High Functioning Autism and Aspergers Syndrome.

An upside down car generally needs assistance to get back up. It is not an ideal position.
