Description

This is a wooden project I just finished.  It's known as an "infinity cube", and it's a continuous length of wood with bends in specific spots to form a cube.  I saw a picture of one at the end of a YouTube video I saw recently and decided to make one of my own.‌

‌I had wanted to put some LED lights into it, and I tried an LED rope light in, but it really didn't work too well.  So I pulled the light bulb out of an old microwave and used that instead.‌

‌It's basically a half inch length of Poplar wood with 45° cuts in it, then super glued together with a simple wooden base.  Then some stain and varnish, and the light bulb glued in.  I only wish I had sanded the wood a bit more on the ends with super glue or used less so the stain was more uniform on each corner.  Try it and learn so you can do better next time, right?
