People gave Andromeda so much shit but I loved it and I love the crew. I don't understand why people hated Peebee, I loved her. In my opinion Cora was worse than Peebee.

I can absolutely understand why people might be "Oh gee, another one" and I completely agree with the whole favouritism. I find it annoying that they put so much into a char because: "Oh, asari." when really they could have given us more Suvi, or Vetra. Not sure about the other LIs because I've only romanced Suvi and Vetra.
As companions i like them just fine, but yeah, that's about it.

Sorry for the late reply, they also put a lot more into Cora's romance, her romance scene was soft core space porn complete with thrusting, I wish they'd put less detail on her backside and more detail in the hairstyles

I actually, mostly, liked James. Bit of waste of space, but Allers was worse.
They could have just done something better with that or put the polygons, animations costs on the other characters.

It's a shame that Andromeda did so poorly. I place part of the blame on all of the people and reviewers lambasting the game before it even came out and obsessing over every tiny flaw. Sure, the game might not have been GOTY material, but the people who say ME1 was better are looking through some serious rose-tinted glasses. I was one of the people who heard about Andromeda at first and went "No Shepard? No Garrus? No Tali? Count me out" and I ended up getting the deluxe edition back in June or July. I still haven't beaten it (and probably won't soon, now that AC Origins is out) but I love it. Does it have its flaws? Sure it does, but it was definitely not the worst game in the series.

Haha! Yeah...no...it was definitely prettier than ME1.
ME1, however, had a much stronger and also better storyline.
That doesn't mean Andromeda was as awful as so many people say.
I will admit to having my doubts after playing the game for 10 hours and not really gotten the wow-feeling yet.
I just wish the storyline was stronger. The companions, I love. I love the characters and all that. Minus Liam.
Hate Liam.
As for not having the old crew. I didn't mind that at all. I was so excited about getting to explore the galaxy
600 years after the Reaper. Only to realize they took off and went to another galaxy....THAT was a real turn off.
But after some serious grinding and getting to the parts where we actually get to know the characters,
I enjoyed the game. Could have been better, could have been worse.

Wish there was better moments for the Vetra romance as well as the others. I was hoping for so much more scenes with Keri, Vetra, Suvi and Reyes.

Apparently after the game dropped Vetra and Suvi's writer left the team in disgust, she had to fight to keep Suvi gay and Vetra bisexual, higher ups wanted Suvi bi and Vetra straight
