The best part about this is that it's a crow and raven tutorial at the same time. I have a huge list of things I need to learn how to draw since all I can draw is girls and trees haha ^-^'

Ravens are my favorite animals along side parrots, and thus appear in my art quite frequently. This is very helpful. It really helps me notice a lot of details that are difficult to see when I'm using all these photos I've collected for reference or drawing from life.

Crow and raven are two different species (actually, several different). Raven is 4-5 times larger than crow.

It's like saying that tiger and lion are (big)cats. So you can use "crow", when you mean any species of the family Corvidae (crows, ravens, jays), but hav to use "raven", when you speak about the largest of them all.
Also, common crow of Eurasia (Corvus cornix) can be black. Raven is always black. They are similar from afar and common people mix them (actually, almost in all movies and videos when there is supposed to be raven, there is a pet-crow).

This is pure genius- I haven't seen such talent in a really log time. I'm trying to learn how to draw birds now, the raven is my favourite bird but I have been having lots of problems with the body. Now I think I may be able to get better at it! Thanks a lot for making this tutorial ^^
