Thanks, yes, thats the idea behind my special style...bring more sense to 40k. There are enough people copying the hero scale style from GW in a fantastic way...but thats not my way

I agree, i've seen many well made 40k weapons but at a nonsensical size (6 foot long chainswords, Bolters so big the look like HeavyBolters).

I've made a (proportionate sized) Chainsword & have a "WorkInProgress" Umbra pattern Bolter (looks the best & most realistic IMO)

Thanks, it helps having a basic understanding of how firearms work.
I looked at the AA12 & Seiga12 auto shotguns for the "fake-function" & the Browning 1919 for aesthetics.
I was going to paint it with a worn black metal finish but most modern gun exteriors are made of plastic & internals stainless steal (no rust!)
I wanted a battle worn tactical look, still need to finish it when I can be bothered.

Its a self made and welded steel (new concepted by me) weapon, based on the elysia lasrifle designed by forgewold

Helmet and mask are now one piece, I do an count of with pro and contra. For the my use its ok in that way.
