Description
I was searching the net for good color schemes and I ran across this [link] which I assume is from a coloring book.Just for the hell of it, I tried my hand at strengthening the poses. Not being a die-hard fan, this is the first time I've tried drawing them... and it was fun!
Threw in a quick background just because.

Very wacky and strange. Plus they look very strechable and very different to me.

Nice. I suppose if they had this board for the show it would just be "corrected" to look like [link]

Aha, I like this. Squidward looks like a little season 1 in this drawing. I love your interpretation better. ;3

Great job strengthening those poses! You should check out Sherm Cohen's tutorials [link] [link] although by the looks of it, you probably don't need to!

I like how Spongebob looks tougher in this picture than the original, even though here he's sprouting his eyelashes. XD Haha. Nice job.

Thanks! Yeah.. I actually -like- the expression on the original because its more of a pout. I haven't watched the show enough to know whether mine is in his range of anger or not...
Eyelashes are hilarious on male characters.

Agreed.
The pout was definitely cute, but I like the angry frown as well. Pretty much all the characters have had a moment of extreme anger at one point or another, so yeah, you got his range a-okay.

So much more emotion in your version than the original. I just love Spongebob's expression, so much more attitude than the character normally has

I'm not really a huge fan of Spongebob Squarepants either. xD Although I do watch the show on occasion now.
I love these poses though! It adds more character to these... uh.. characters. : D

Sweeeet! Some of the SpongeBob Nickelodeon Magazine comics looked kinda like this, I wish it could've been applied to more things... Also, nice touch giving the ground a sort of underwater-ripple effect.
