Description
As promisedHere is my very first watercolour tutorial that you've requested me.
and something I would like to say before you start
Make sure you have some tissue papers while you're working, This will helped you control the water flow, cleaning your brushes,etc.
and don't use only one water container, let's find 2-3 of them
one is for washing your brushes and one for mixed with paints.
If you use only 1 water container, the water will become muddy and give you some horrible dirty effects, ruin your precious work for all time.
And use the best quality brush you can afford.
====================
Here's the link to my 2nd watercolor tutorial.

Im pretty sure he's using wet on dry
But if you want clean blending of colors you might try wet on wet or paint the parts you want one color and paint very closely on the other part with another color and using pure water go in between the two colors for a more cleaner affect (whether you stroke vertically or horizontally to blend is up to you) and how long you let the paint dry and how wet your brush is will effect the blending. This is what I use when blending colors together when I paint in art class and Im not entirely sure if I explained it right but I hope it helps you

This really makes me want to try watercolors! I never experiment with coloring, which is why I'm still incredibly bad at it...also I have no patience for it, but it seems its difficult to produce quality work is no time is put into it. I've always seen/heard about the wonders of watercolor from my friends, so if I ever get the chance to get some, I want to try! I'll start by refering this this tutorial. Your work has some of the most amazing coloring I've ever seen. And it's all traditional too! Amazing!

what is the yellow line for? Is it just your taste or does it serve a purpose?
Lovely work and tutorial, makes me want to use watercolors more than acrylics.
