Haha, yeah--it was a lot of fun to color! My instructor told me to lose the wings and since this isn't for anything other than an assignment and not my actual story, I was more than happy to oblige. But yeah, I'd wonder how I'd incorporate wings into this design too.

Are you gonna keep his old longish hairstyle, or update it to this cut? I'm just curious because I'd love to take a stab at drawing him sometime, and I'd like to know which I should use.

I'm not completely sure yet. I was so used to him having longer hair because that's always what I drew him with, but to be honest the short cut is growing on me. I still associate him more with his longer hair, but who's to say he couldn't get a haircut later down the road?

And if you do, I'd love to see it!
