Edit: Fixed the description up a bit ^^" I'm honestly surprised it made this much sense for how tired I was-

This character started out as an inside joke with a friend and I, a character called "Bill the Bellringer". Every time we'd go to dnd, we'd pass by this church, and no matter what the time was, the bells would be ringing. We could get there 6:15, 6:45, 6:55, wouldn't matter. So we started joking that there was some poor guy up there just ringing those bells like an absolute mad lad, who hadn't seen his family in months, and was just ringing these bells until god told him to stop. Then we started thinking up what class this guy would be for DnD and... I kinda decided to run with the idea.

Even though he stared out as a joke character, with the games I've been focused on lately, he kinda became more of a badass looking character, whoops-
Now redubbed Barnabas The Bellringer, (Also nicknamed Barney and "Coldstone" by his party) he is a 2nd level bard and a 4th level Zealot barbarian. He is on a mission to rid himself of the corruptive mark on his chest, as well as proving his worth to the cult church that took him in. He also wields a church bell as his weapon of choice, and must always have it with him as part of his mission.

I had read up that the markings a Goliath has are actually linked to what their fate would be in life, and they avoid tattoos for the fear that it will change/corrupt their fate. (Which is what the mark placed on him has been doing.) So here's a lil list of what all his markings mean!
-The tear-like markings on Barnabas' face show that he is fated for a great loss. While the marks at his mouth show that he is fated for battle.
-The almost beast-like patterns on his chest show that he will be as strong.
-The cross-like marking on his right arm signals protection.
-The markings on his legs, those that almost resemble smeared handprints. He is fated to be subject to many temptations that would try and stray his path.
-The jagged marks at his shins represent spikes and hardships, he must endure them to reach his goal.

This boi's actually one of the few characters I've made a ref for that has been played!! I just did a oneshot with him today (Or yesterday technically-) and my god... This absolute madlad not only intimidated an ADULT WHITE DRAGON, bUT ALSO TANKED A COLD BREATH BLAST AND AT LEAST 6 OTHER TAIL AND WING ATTACKS! I love him, he's good.

I have a lil challenge for you all if you've made it this far into the description. First person to guess the three things that inspired his design will get a free headshot icon. Here's your hints.
-Older PS3 game, has an entire series behind it
-Newer Pixel game
-Anime
