Description
(Zoom in for the full quality~)HOLY HECK I'M SO GLAD TO HAVE THIS DONE-
hhhh my son, my robot sON
It was so weird making a full out mechanical robot for once but honestly I kinda like it??? There's something about drawing all the angles and details that's kinda relaxing, fitting since the whole reason I drew this boi out was because I wanted to relax after a really bad day (He was supposed to just be a headshot sketch for fun and then this happened)
But here we are again, another warlock and yet DnD PC with no game. But, at least this boi is gonna show up as an NPC for a game I'm DMing o0o I'm super excited to throw him at my players hhhh- He was also basically instantly made as soon as I heard about the new UA warlock class. It looked like so much fun and he was just such a fun concept to work with- I've tossed a lot of villains I love into him.
Regardless~ This is M-XIII, also known as XIII or Thirteen. An older model Warforged Envoy that was originally created to be a diplomat and a representative to appear in the place of his creator when she couldn't show. He was programmed to be as human as possible... but that was his downfall in the end. His creator got complaints about him, that he was too real, and that uncanny realness made people uncomfortable. So, he was scrapped, deactivated and tossed into the ocean. As he washed up on a small rock face, far away from shore, he was struck by lightning that reactivated him, revealing to him that he had been abandoned.
For eight years, eight long years he wandered the ocean depths, trying to find his way back home and having plenty of time to question his creator, and organics in general. How all those he had socialized with had always thought short term, never realizing how small their lives were, how pathetic they were in comparison to him, an unaging invincible machine. He stewed over these thoughts for years, before he eventually came across an entity, at the very bottom of the sea. The entity was shocked that any being could possibly make it as far down as they were, and was impressed by the strange metal thing. He offered XIII a deal, to act as his will outside of the sea, and in return, he would bless him with his own personal abilities, able to summon his patron's tentacles, disguise himself at will, and wield terrible magical power. XIII agreed completely, and his patron opened up a gate to send him back to shore.
He now wanders in search of his creator, hoping to give her the same treatment that she gave him.
Eternity at the bottom of the sea.
However, being trapped at the bottom of the sea for 8 years does, of course, have long term drawbacks...
The saltwater has heavily corroded him, leaving him with screeching rusted limbs (He has -1 to dex and stealth disadvantage)
He's found at least some ways around this, having his disguises always feature a rusted metal prosthetic limb to explain the screech of metal when he moves.
XIII belongs to me~
