Pillage the wastes in style!"Screaming Hawk" was build with a very old (and missing parts) 1/35 German armored car( sd.kfz 250 ) Built up with extra details form the bits boxes. features two figurines(one custom) and extra stowage/gear. painted in dark tan,rust,euro gray "Model Masters" enamels and weathered in brown acrylics and pastels.
like how this one came out, and really has a max mad/fallout vibe. this project has me thinking about maybe doing a modern tank crazy like this. I haven't really beat up a tank yet and i think in this style it might be pretty sweet.

Drinking and driving is just part of cruising around in the waste land. You have quick rear access to pick up more brewski! Empty bottles are good projectiles when you run out of gun ammo too!

Funny that you mentioned some Nazi waste scum! That is the best idea yet! I was thinking about that just the other day as well as a Red Baron type. The Mad Max movies were on last week and they had a Red Baron kinda.

yea dude! was thinking this color scheme would be "the X gang"(cause i suck at names but good at painting X) a law and order type dark blues and grays and some Nazi scum.
gonna have to go back and re-watch mad max i think! i picked up some tank girl comics too, hopefully they will have some inspiration as well.
