Squid/Octo Splattack

Powers/Abilities:

- Green Ink (Teleportation)
- This allows Splattack to go into green ink and pop up in another area with green ink, this only works if the green ink is in at least two locations.
- Ink Portal Creation
- Blue Ink (Water)
- This ink functions mostly like water, with the difference being Inklings/Octolings can actually swim in this in their Squid/Octo Forms. It can also hydrate species that depend on moisture such as Piscciss Volann.
- Orange Ink (Bouncy)
- This ink is very bouncy and allows for very high jumping.
- Purple Ink (Sticky)
- This ink is very sticky and can hold opponents in place, it can even stop a Kineceleran in it's tracks.
- Light Blue Ink (Ice)
- This ink is able to freeze things and make them slippery like ice.
- Red Ink (Lava)
- This ink functions like lava, so it's very hot.
- Yellow Ink (Electrical)
- This ink is electrically charged and can electrocute opponents and even power some machinery.

Weaknesses:
- Do not dissolve in water immediately, but Inklings do have a limit to how much water their bodies can handle.
- Vulnerability to hydrokinesis
- Exploitable Ink
- Blue Ink can be absorbed by those that have water/moisture absorption abilities like Orishans.
- Red Ink is not very affective against species such as Pyronites or Crabdozers.
- The electricity of Yellow Ink can be absorbed by Conductoids.

Trivia:
- Ben claims to have named Spattack after an Inkling song.
- Inklings are classified into two subspecies, one is the Squid Inklings and the other is the Octo Inklings, or Squidlings and Octolings for short.
- The Squidlings and Octolings are very similar species and the little distinction between them is similar to Perk and Murk Gourmands.
- The two versions of Splattack are known as Squid Splattack and Octo Splattack, similar to Perk and Murk Upchuck.
- Even though Inklings can use special types of ink, they don't use them in Turf Wars and Splatfests as this could provide unfair advantages, so for Turf Wars and Splatfests they just use their ability to change their hair color and use weapons that contain what could be considered as artificial ink.
- Inklings created artificial ink by reverse engineering their own blue ink. Unlike their natural blue ink though an Inkling isn't able to sink into it as deep and it comes in many different colors.
- Blue ink isn't the only ink from Inklings to be used in different ways though. Of course it is important to notice any differences between different colored inks and natural ink that is just dyed a certain color.
- Blue ink can additionally be used for pools for them since they can't be in water.
- Green ink can be used for transportation purposes.
- Orange ink can be used to reach high places for a variety of tasks or even just used for parties like a trampoline or bounce house.
- Purple ink is an adhesive ink that can be used to repair many broken objects or immobilize enemies in the glue-like substance.
- Light blue ink is perfect for tasks at sea as even though Inklings use various sea and aircrafts, in the event one were to accidentally fall towards the sea they can use this ink to freeze the surface of the water and save themselves.
- Red ink is used as a heat source in variety of different ways such as for mere heating systems or even for metal forges.
- Yellow ink is used as an energy source not just for the Inklings, but also other races as well.
- One of the only groups to use their special ink for combat is the secret group known as the "Squidbeak Splatoon", and even use various weapons to increase their special ink's capabilities.
- The artificial ink(especially the purple, red, and yellow ink) is very useful not just for the Inklings, but for other species across the galaxy as well. This has lead to Inkoplekta to become involved in intergalactic trade and is considered a market planet.
- Coincidentally, Inkoplekta is home to some immigrated Ekoplektoids due to them leaving Ektoplekton wanting to get more space.
- Inklings have celebrated sports games known as Splatfests, in which Inklings compete in Turf Wars. These games are hosted by the Squid Sisters, Callie and Marie, as well as Off The Hook’s members, Pearl and Marina.
- A celebrated champion of the Splatfests is a human/Squidling hybrid known as Meggy. She has quite a colorful circle of friends, including a Spike Koopa named Fishy Boopkins, a Phobian named Bob(who’s was born without any fear toxins due to a genetic defect), a Diclonius named Saiko Bichitaru, a Seedrian known as Melony, and even the greatest known manga artist in the galaxy, an Axolotl Mobian named Axol. She even managed to form a close bond with her rival, an Octoling known as Desti.
