Big problem I had...the US government making the decision FOR THE ENTIRE PLANET. Giant plot hole if one of the other countries was like "dude, you don't want giant robots protecting your asses...WE DO, come on over, guys!

It really baffled me that they made shockwave seem like the main villain before the movie came out, and then he hardly had ANY screen time. -.- WHY?! His design was so cool, and gah! This movie really left a bitter taste in my mouth, ha ha. Not my favorite, that's for sure.

considering they mentioned a nother wave of autobots came on the zanthium or whatever its called and some origonal ones still lived on in the comics like the arcees least chromia(blue one) why was it only 9 that wehre banished what about autobots not in the US XD?

That seems to be Bay's opinion of the government. Notice their portrayal in the movies; they're either fully supportive of the army (and thus nice/good), or complete jerks who only want their way and to hell with anyone who doesn't agree with them.

I have a feeling the Lincoln Memorial part was thrown in to satiate us seething fanboys/fangirls, Bay's desperate attempt to get on our good side and show that he understood a small iota of his subject material.

Michael Bay's a jerk, but I love him for publicizing Transformers with these movies.
I almost screamed in the movie theater. I may not be an Optimus fangirl, but I think his begging made me one.

Yeah, okay--Megatron on the Lincoln Memorial--that was kicker. The rest--Bay must really hate women and see Prime as one. He goes from pouty hormonal to menopausal homicidal--and then we have the traditional woman-becomes-a-bitch-when-in-power instead of the piece of objectified ass that she's supposed to be crap.
I think Bay needs a shrink and the TFs needed to sue him.

Bay is more interested in having his female "characters" as eye candy. At least in G1 Carly was relatively smart and had bravery to match it.
As for his portrayal of Optimus, well.... People complained about how easily Prime got his skidplate kicked in the first movie, so Bay decided to "rectify" it by making him an aft-kicking machine in the second movie (Forest Scene was boss, "GIVE ME YOUR FACE" was overboard). Then this movie rolls around, and Optimus flat out says "We will KILL THEM ALL." Sorry, Prime's not a psycho obsessed with murdering his opponents in gruesome ways. If he HAD to kill, he'd make it quick.
