Part 4So there's a part in the movie where Prime in Jet-Mode gets shot by Shockwave and gets entangled in some overhanging cables and wires.
This is why Autobots don't fly, children. THEY SUCK AT IT.

I felt so bad for Prime when he was wrapped in those cables XD I could only imagine him thinking: "Primus what a week..."

XD With the Wrckers part, I found it kinda sad that Optimus wouldn't even bother to learn there nmes. "Wreckerz!!! Nuu, I'm falling..."

And Starscream died because he couldn't get a bomb out of his eye. SERIOUSLY? I would have loved it if "well, he's dead" had been followed by Starscream's spark sort of floating out and posessing a random car, and getting revenge...

When Starscream died I went through the first four stages of denial at the same time.
Then i ended up having to rewatch the movie when it came out on dvd because i sat the rest of the movie through thinking about how much I hated Michael Bay for the way he planned it.
Not that This classifies me as insane, right?

That movie IS denial. Pure denial. I've seen it 12 times and I still don't think I've seen it. (wow, all this time, and all anyone had to do to take down the 'Cons was shoot out their optics. Who knew. -_-) So...maybe we're both insane?

If that trick actually worked in any of the other series, I think the war would have been won by the first few episodes.
And, I agree, I have seen it plenty times and still don't think it exists much. (The only thing i liked about it was Megatron sitting in the remains of the Lincoln statue. Only thing I liked out of all three movies.)

One of my major pet peeves for the movies is that WHY DO ALL THE CONS GET KNOCKED DOWN SO EASILY? AND BY HUMANS.
I'M PRETTY SURE TRANSFORMERS ARE A LOT OLDER AS A SPECIES COMPARED TO HUMANS
AND THEY'RE GIANT ROBOTS

I giggled when I saw Prime hanging there like a fly caught in a cats-cradle. Although why he didn't just use his fantastic glowing blade of awesome to cut himself out is a mystery.

Hahahaha! Really made me laugh, especially Dylan's aura of intense swag (tm) and Sam's herpderp face. XD
The part where Prime got tangled in the wires and had to call the Wreckers to climb up and cut him down made no sense to me. Optimus has two giant swords for hands! He could have set himself free so easily! /plotrage
And Screamer..... I knew his death would be lame and despite bracing myself for it, it did upset me a bit. Dying at the hands of Shia, no less. Such an inglorious death. He definitely deserved better. Hell, all the major 'Cons deserved better. (The Dreads had cooler fights and death scenes.)
Really hope they reboot the movies and do them right next time.

I figured out what those wires Prime got stuck in were for--to keep the audience from falling in the plot holes--they were pretty damn big--but thank you for putting the tassels on them because now they're really funny instead of just yawning!

It was rather ungraceful, that's for sure. Prime himself sounded frustrated when he got stuck, like "Man, I'm just not having a good couple of days."
Also, without him in the fray, it meant that Bay got to give special attention to the film's real heroes: THE ARMY. Recall that, while Prime was stuck, the soldiers had to run in on their own, and hold their own against giant robot death machines.
