Description
Faded awaylong ago...
year after year
haunting those who still remember
Far away
down that road,
of gentle sway...
in the ruins of a city
where the foundations of life lay
Long forgotten
in the forests of time
on the streets beauty
where children once played
There was happiness
and now she walks
searching,
searching for her love
lost,
lost in time
of war and plague
long ago...
wanting and remembering
the happiness of those days
For my blonde, blue-eyed girl...I may forgive but I will never forget.

nah thank YOU for drawing this. if there is anything making a man weak then it's a sight like that.
know however that the definition of forgiving is to treat a 'crime' like it has never happened, ergo forget so it's kinda crashing there

what a touching and sad piece! Oh my goodness...where can I even begin to comment on this? I absolutely love the emotion behind this whole piece. The pose and expression of the elf maiden is heart breaking. The words you used in your description make me want to cry! I'm so sorry about your loss. Love can be such a terrible thing some days. I'm just glad that you can openly express the way you feel. So many people just bottle it up inside until they can't handle it any more and they just break down. I don't really know what else to say...

The skill and composition in this piece is amazing, all the colouring and shading is near perfect. The only thing i could say is the curved lines in the background bushes let it down slightly, as it doesnt look realistic as the rest of the piece does, but its only a minor detail. I love the way her hair seems to fade away though, it really gives a ghostly suggestion. Brilliant stuff, definite watch

Very nice! However, I think the arm and hand that are visible (the one touching the column) look a bit weird color wise and anatomically.

What a wonderfully sad picture, and what a great combination with the poem! Amazingly sensitive.

Beautiful. Almost flawless. The hand and the arm look a little small when compared to the head, though some artists do that deliberately.

Nice work - I like the tattoo as well.
The only thing I'm not sure about is the softness of the modeling in the background - the stone texture should probably be harder.
