Description
Here's a piece I've been working on for a while now. For those of you that have a keen and imaginative eye tell me if you can see the hidden image in this one...Journyed this path for too long and i've come too far
Obstacles in my way are not easily overlooked
Seduced by my demons they make me want to turn away
However much i wish things didn't have to be this way
Unkind as it is i understand the answers will come in time
And when they do i'll still be here waiting for you

Well this piece really is sort of soothing/relaxing and also gives me a feeling of inspiration or flying at the same time ... it's awesome! It's wonderful that you can communicate this atmosphere using a very narrow spectrum of colours, keeping to the warm earthy hues is quite a unique move in these sorts of pieces I find ... and somehow the little character on the end gives me a Kingdom Hearts feel. Maybe it's his hair or clothes or the way you drew his body .. (or maybe I really play too many videogames)
But this is definitely a lovely piece very worthy of a DD. Thanks for sharing it with us

Almost no one ever picked up on the hidden name in the poem. It's not me, but it's about someone I lost. I love working with few colors or forcing colors into harmony with eachother. I think it gives a rather asthetic tone. That's why I choose a dominate color and I work the rest in from there keeping them all blending with eachother.

I love the warm colors and the incredible details of it; it makes me feel as if I could just step into the scene. What caught me, though, and maybe this is the hidden thing, is the way that so many things - the carven knight's sword, the branch the guy is sitting on, the branch behind it, the crumbled bridge/thing, the gargoyle's gaze, the eaves of the houses - are all pointed towards the ship, and what isn't pointed to the ship is pointed to the sky. It seems as if the young man is left behind

Well I see a circle at the bottem right of the pic. Looks like somthing is in it.

Well it looks like the boy's sitting on a huge animal's arm. He looks more like um..a snouted animal...um..an armadillo is my best bet.

XD i see...uh...3 monsters, and a magical or knight or wizard person off to the left side O_O ^u^ the warm clouds are very comfurting!~ excellent job!~

I would say there is a kind of house or rather Wing of a house right at the top with it's chimney smoking,
then under that there is a statue of a man or maybe a king(kind of crown on the head) wraped in a cloak.He (or she) is pointing to the sea with a stick or some sort while taking while the other hand holds another stick planted in the soil.
Under the streched out arm is a kind of devil looking out to the sea. (surely one of the inner devils in the poem)
Another one of these devils or creatures are under the first one, gasping out towards the sea.(this one looks more like a dragon)
Upon the same tree were the boy is, i see another kind of devil with in it's hands two balls. (hope it's not his >_<
Above the boy i see a kind of face, eyes closed,face looks or sad or sleeping.Maybe even hibernating while waiting for the person in the poem.
And finaly i see something or someone at the end of the bridge, if someone he looks like in a hump or sitting down elbows low inside. (come to think about it why not a portal)
Oh and the flying boat 
I would say the house(s) are the representation of the obstacles in the poem like going away from his home town, or leaving his family,friends to go on his journey.
I think the first of the two persons who are supposed to have met a that place arrived before or something like that and died, and so reincarneted in the sky? (the face in the sky) Or since then waited in the sky for the boy.
Maybe a story of a father & son, same path but the elder one died or so. ( "i've come too far" )
errrr what else? 
Now for the critics, well...the colouring is perfect, the colours for the sky are well choosen,the degrade of that colour gives that kind of smokey side to it.The boy and specially it's ''loose'' or "wild" hair is very well done, the effect of oldness on the statue and it's cloak represent well it's age and kind of indestructibility. ( does this word exist? 
Finally the only word to qualify these artwork is: 
The only critic to this deviation is that I think it cauld have been or could be part of a bigger image or so.It's like yes there is the deviation but where is the rest? Arrr well this is just my opinion.
If you have read this entirely I thank you a lot, but we should all thank this author for this deviation.

You nailed it almost on the head with the Father and son theme as well as your view of the overall picture. Absolutely breathtaking. I had to look at this a few times before actually taking in everything about this piece, and I'm sure I haven't gotten the half of it.
The boy, the crumbling half bridge, the statues, the cottage, the boat, and oh wow the face in the sky was amazing.
I thought I noticed something that resembled a face, though I thought I was just losing it. Then I started reading the comments so I guess it's not just me.
Well, beautiful concept. Dunno, I kinda get a feeling of neverland/peter pan when I look at this one, and that was even before I saw the boat...

This absolutely takes my breath away. I can't remember the last time a picture captivated me so entirely. The concept is so ... Amazing. I just love it. And it's so original! This is so beautiful. I really can't begin to explain. The colours, all the little figures hidden and intertwined, the boy out on the branch {I love that}, the little ship. Everything. It's magnificent. One of the best pieces I've seen in a while. A well deserved DD.

I can see the dragon in the cliff face and also the goblin (?) creature above it.
A beautiful piece of work; it caught my eye the moment I saw it. Definately something I'd love to have pinned up on my bedroom wall. I also love the light effect in the sky, clouds and water.
