I tell ya, sometimes it just takes finding the production that has the right look and feel! I love the Japanese one for example. The costumes are bight and kabuki-like and the music has more of an electronic rock sound.

Nice painting. Only thing I noticed is that his eyes look a bit crooked... Otherwise, quite nice. I wish that I could bring myself to be less critical, but because of past issues with you I can't.

Well, the comment is appretiated. Yeah, the eyes are a bit off. It was one of the first paintings I did in Genisis Art Colors so I was still kind of getting used to them. On the other hand I suppose people can always argue that people's faces arn't naturally symetrical (weird thought...we always think they naturally are...).
I'm not sure which issues you're talking about though. I've never minded a harsh critique of my work. Got my fair share in classes and always found I've been the better for them.

I must admit, I was moody and immature when we first met. It was in the Cats art group on yahoogroups, and when I asked for a critique of a (rather bad) picture I did, you were (in my opinion at the time... warped as it was) overly mean to me. I think I took whatever it was you said the wrong way (I remember very little from back then due to my current medication for depression) and left the group. If it's possible, I'd like to apologise for my behaviour now.

Macavity rock. i love the style of this. did you use acrylic paints or is this digital?

It's neither. It's something called Genisis Artist Colors. It's like oil paint, but it won't dry unless you heat set it so you essentailly get the control of acrylics but with the feel of oils.
