Description
If you haven't noticed, my space artworks always come in pairs: I simply enjoy recycling testing different setups and crops. This image is a remix of my recent space scene "Hertzian Dipole". Here I dropped my initial concept in favor of a higher-impact composition. I also think the dual color scheme works much better in this artwork, which hence is my submission for the CHROMATIC contest hosted at Space-Revived : Space Art Contest: Chromatic!Alternate version Hertzian Dipole :

As always, thanks for stopping by!

Always loving space artwork its amazing and its really cool you want to keep testing using the same scenario but with other color textures and shades its amazing and unic at the same time.
The combination of colors and shades really higlight in this image love how everything glows.
Also like that little detail you put of the spacecraft knowing that we are in space if someone didnt already know.
Youre artwork is great always gives me an impact on what you can do. Keep up the good work. Also love doing critiques on your artwork its always and will always be an honor.

Congrats on your DD! I’m a huge fan of your work. Like your other work, this is nothing short of stunning. I am using the DA app from my phone and not at my pc so I cannot tel, but it this in wallpaper size to like some of your other work? Purple is my favorite color and your work is awesome. I have a folder just of your work that I alternate as my pc backgrounds. 😊 Thanks and congrats again!

hey, thanks a lot for the great compliment, that's nice to hear! The resolution is 1680x1100 resolution which could be used as a wallpaper. But I can provide a bigger version if you need it. Cheers!

No that’s perfect! I’m at 1920x1080 so I doubt that little difference will be noticeable on my desktop. Your stuff is the best for wallpapers. It’s because you have a lot of space art which I love and your stuff is colorful. I have an MSI laptop that I match the keyboard colors to whatever photo of yours I’m using as my wallpaper lol.

If you do not mind the curiosity, what sort of spacecraft is that? Somehow never spotted it before today.

hi, it's an inflatable space station concept, modeled in 1961. I don't think it was ever brought into space though. commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Fil…

Now that is certainly something one does not see every day. Heard about the concept, but never thought it progressed as far as proof of concept - and certainly did not expect it as early as 1961.
Not something I would personally want to fly, though. Know the forces involved in space travel (especially in this scenario, where the relative velocity is presumably very close to light speed) are so powerful it is for the most part irrelevant if your craft is made of tungsten or tissue, but taking to space in a soft shell must be hideous on the psychology. Perhaps for the same reason, very nice seeing it here - always good seeing variety among the spacecraft, especially the more outlandish designs that have actually been proposed.
Thanks for sharing!

I imagine this would work only once the object is already in space. As a space station it's designated to just float around and not meant for traveling. Beyond Earth's vicinity the gravitational forces aren't that strong, so - without knowing too much about this concept - I guess it could work. But as far as I know, this was just a prototype of an idea and never actually executed. It's definitely interesting to think about it.

The Singularity, a quantum singularity. It is a blast crater in space and time. A hole in known reality, that can never be filled.
It's also known as a "black hole". Only visible, by the energy and matter which sides into it, in a vain attempt to fill it.

That is both useful information and pleasant prose - actually, had a look at your profile and gallery, see a lot of enjoyable reading altogether - but the object I had in mind here is the disc-shaped craft in the upper left.
It is mostly obscured, at the upper left 1/3-1/3 mark.

Noticed it after the comment.
It looks like a com satellite. But it's probably from a comic book, game, or other series.
I cannot Id it ether.
Feel free to explore and comment on my gallery. Crtic, good or bad is welcome and usfule.

I believe many theologists nowadays accept the theory of a big bang as the beginning of the universe, so I hope being an atheist is not a requirement to enjoy the beauty of space. Thanks a lot for the compliment! I'm glad you like it!

Congratulations, Erik!
You were quite right to submit this version; much more slick and subtle, I think that the colours are more appealing and unusual. And of course, they better fit within the chromatic rule. In addition to a unique (we might say cool) concept, this work exudes an enticing mysterious quality.
In terms of room for improvement, probably more depth would really bring it alive. Although I'd want to be careful not to ruin the contemplative aspect of it in doing that.
