If you haven't noticed, my space artworks always come in pairs: I simply enjoy recycling testing different setups and crops. This image is a remix of my recent space scene "Hertzian Dipole". Here I dropped my initial concept in favor of a higher-impact composition. I also think the dual color scheme works much better in this artwork, which hence is my submission for the CHROMATIC contest hosted at Space-Revived : Space Art Contest: Chromatic!Alternate version Hertzian Dipole :

haha, this was a bit of luck I guess - sometimes it's good to experiment, you'll end up with cool looking stuff that you didn't have in mind at first. Something I used a lot more when I was a pure noob

indeed, there's a lot of fascinating stuff happening in the universe, but the singularity is something that is also theoretically not well understood. That's what I love because it offers room for creativity too

There's an infinite amount of beautiful space artwork in Deviantart, but I don't think I've ever seen someone who makes storms or "whirlpool-like" phenomenon as beautiful as you do. You make a very good use of colours too. I thinkI prefer this one too. Anyway, herzlichen Gluckwunsch!

I'd have to agree with what you said in the artist comments, I very much like this one, seems like an improved version of the other.
Lovely color scheme for sure, and I like the inclusion of the "ship". Also I find the bottom right corner mesmerizing, like, there's something really awesome there but you can only see a hint of it, way for us to want more.

Yeah, as so often it's tough to sacrifice certain parts of your artwork for the greater good lol. In this case the original concept was quite difficult to portray in an appealing way. Dropping the concept made that part easier

I think I actually liked this one more. Though I could be biased because I like purple. On one hand it looks like a chaotic storm, on the other - a calm ripple in space. I bet it would make an awesome blacklight painting too since it looks like it's under one already. Either way I sure hope that spacecraft is sending back pictures to whoever sent it!

Yeah, I think this one is better, too. I just couldn't bring myself to decide against the other because the concept took such a long time to pull off. In the end it wasn't really worth it though.
