FMA Brotherhood was on TV a couple days ago, and it was the episode where Riza thinks Lust killed Mustang, but then he appears (without a shirt, of course) and kills Lust. Yeah, that's one of my favorite episodes, and this was one of my favorite parts...although she never used two guns at once.I know the guns may not me technically correct, but I really know nothing about them, and none of the reference pics I could find were at the correct angle... >_<

I see what you mean about the hazy gun. Sorry about that. Luckily I have a better camera, now, so when I take pictures of my paintings they will come out clearer!

Duuuuuuuuuuuude! Seriously one of ur best works ever. I love the character. I really like the shading and the intensity. I've never even thought to do the gun explosions before, that was a really good idea too. The background is a little dull but I totally have the same problem and have been trying to improve on that area as well. Perhaps some cracks or texture would have solved that, but thats really minor. I actually like it the way it is. You should think about doing a companion piece to this where you see what she's shooting, that would be piiiimp.

This is a really great piece of work. The choice to use acrylic really served you well as it allowed you to have a soft quality and a nice texture that would be difficult to replicate digitally. You capture the style of the anime while really making this your own.
I can't really comment on the guns themselves since I don't know much about them either, but they look good to me. What I really love though, is the flare effect of them being fired. It's simply stunning and really captures my attention. You hit just the right amount of softness and transparency that makes it feel very real. The yellow highlights on Riza from the flash are great as well and provides a unifying color that forces your eye to travel around the image.
Her facial expression is fantastic as well. The emotion and gravity of the situation is immediately apparent is had quite an impact. The simplicity of the background aids in this. All eyes on on Riza and her desperation and fear, but at the same time she's being bad ass and taking care of business. Fantastic.

I don't think Hawkeye looked this fierce even in the original manga. Nice touch managing to one-up it while keeping it realsonable. A face just screams "DIE BITCH!"

She looks great! The coloring is amazing. People who can paint actual physical pictures amaze me lol. That is my fav episode of FMA! You never see Riza lose control like that and it really shows how committed she is to Mustang. I couldn't draw a gun if my life depended on it, so I can't critique yours lol.
