This is a contest entry for Pedin's layout contest on HL. It's not my best work, but nevertheless I hope she likes it!
P.S. The title is Italian for 'together', which I thought was rather fitting for this piece. (Why Italian? Because it sounds nicer than English xD)

You're welcome! I'm off to attempt to make a manip. It's been ages since I have made one, so this is going to be a train wreck.. xD I wish I had your skills. Or even a fraction of them.. Haha. I made manips for about 3 years straight, and I still can't paint manes right, or even remotely right. But I'mma keep on trucking and see how it turns out.

Haha! The key is to keep experimenting. When I was still a beginner, I stayed with the same hair style for almost a year and found I wasn't getting anywhere and didn't understand why my manes and tails didn't look like that from opaque-studios (my idol!). Then I realised it was because I wasn't trying anything different, so I varied my style a bit, and keep trying, and eventually (i.e. several years later xD) I got to where I am now. It takes practice, like anything else in life, but there is one day when you have that 'eureka!' moment when you finally somehow paint the perfect tail and realise you've got the technique right.

Haha, it's cool! I talk too much a lot of the time! xD And every time I do a manip, I try a new technique. I look at a different tutorial every time, and always end up with a flat looking mane and tail, or the colors won't match, or it will be too bright. Or lack the right amount of highlights or lowlights. But I'm still trying different techniques!

The key is to use lots of different shades. You don't want to use, like, three different colors for the hair (a base, highlight and lowlight). Rather, I usually use atleast 5 colours. This allows me to get a wide range of tone in the hair, so it looks more realistic and has more depth.

To tell the truth, I was born in Argentina, but moved to Italy when I was four, so it was easy for me to learn, also because it's really similar to Spanish. If you need anything let me know, I'd love to help you!

And, well, I speak Italian and Spanish as mothertongues, English, I've studied French for three years (but I remember almost nothing) and speak a bit of Japanese too. And I can read and understand when someone speaks Portuguese, though I don't speak it myself.
