all in all, i quite like this one.
cs5's Content Aware feature quickly got rid of the purple patch on the white horses back (*points to stock photo below*).
i could marry Content Aware right now, it's just awesomesauce. it just replaces things like MAGICCC.

Sorry for the late reply! Thanks so much - nope, I used the stock images themselves (it's more of a photomanipulation than a digital painting). Some elements are painted though, and I do draw over the edge of the horses to define them.

i've got photoshop cs5 extended. the main difference is that Extended can do 3D whilst the non-extended version can't, but thats about it. xD

i bought mine from a software/computing store, they should be available at all the big ones. otherwise, there's plenty of places you can order them online from.

I love the work gone into this piece, the manes and tails are simply to die for. I really like the words used and the way you have added them does not detract from the main image just as a finishing touch which has worked really well.
