OMG ITS HERE!!!! made this especially for you guys who keep annoying me to make you a tail tutorial, haha.
when i was working on Strats manip, i was like 'hey i'll make a tail tutorial as well!' haha, so, i did, here it is. hope you all like it! this shows exactly how i do my tails.

It should work, yes - however, painting hair with a mouse is tricky, so I do suggest that you invest in a tablet at some point, as they make it so much easier!

Haha yeah I know. At the moment I am looking at things other than wacom bamboo tablets such as Digipro, Havon GraphicPal and Trust flex design. I have looked at reviews and stuff but I'm not too sure yet which I like x.x

Ah, ok - I haven't actually owned any of those, so I can't give too much advice on those brands. Good luck though, I'm sure you'll find the right tablet soon enough!

I ended up buying I think it's the Wacom Bamboo splash or pen I can't tell, it doesn't actually say on the box XD

Thanks so much, i used this in conjunction with another tutorial and the layered colour tip worked out so well. I used a mouse to do mine and the other tutorial showed what the fade button does. Woot. Shinny bits are great and hopefully the tails will improve as i practice xD

i must admit, it's tricky with a mouse. have you thought about buying a tablet? i know some of the prices are ridiculous, but there are some pretty cheap ones around at the moment, some as low as $60.

haha! just be careful when buying software from online auction sites (such as eBay and similar ones), and make sure that the person you're buying from has a good feedback record.
