Description
In an area of the Blue Moutains, west of Sydney, the walls of the bridges under train tracks are painted like this. They always catch my eye as we drive by, and I've wanted to get a photo of one for a while now.Well yesterday - I got one. I may have nearly got hit by several cars and just missed stepping on a dead pigeon.... but I got it.
But it would have been nice if there wasn't stupid lens distortion
Anyway, I hope you like the wall!

it looks like we both see interesting "designs" or nice abstract patterns in the world around us
i really really love how you manage to capture them
this is a fantastic example

simply sublime, so close to perfect... you have a very keen eye for composition unfortunetely it may get you killed one day when you slip on a pigeon and consequently hit by a grey car.

Haha, ah well - at least I'd die doing what I love (pigeon dancing that is)
Thanks for your comment

A very successful urban abstract: superb framing that makes effective use of colorful/negative space, and the horizontal stripes down below bring it all together.
An image well worth risking one's neck for.

Thank you very much!
Lately I've felt a little change coming on, with both my mixed media work and photographs.... and I think I'm going to start making more use of negative space. I usually seem to fill up my compositions, but I think I'm going to allow more for the 'spaces in between'
New art coming.... I feel it coming on!

Yeah barrel distortion is annoying, but i can't see it much in this shot, so you've done well. Great composition here and i like the colour combination. Red, black and white are always a nice combination Just to make it worth the near-death experience, i'm going to fav it
