XD I WISH my dog's paws looked like that. They've got these big-assed Wiley Coyote feet, and one of 'ems got so much HAIR on his feet you can't even see them anyway.

It really helped me on the scrunchy leg-thing (I call it that xD).
I'm never able to draw a dog sitting because of the way I draw the leg.

This is actually extremely helpful.
I mostly only draw people, and have very rarely been able to draw satistfactory animals (maybe I just OCD too much...). Among my characters, I'll probably be drawing wolves more than domestic dogs, or Siberian huskies (oh how I love huskies. Aren't they beautiful? With a fluffy white and black coat... beautiful blue eyes... -cheesy grin-), but this is extremely helpful. x3 Thank you for creating this tutorial, I hope I'll be able to create something that doesn't insult and shame the source of my new knowledge.
Hooboy. I love your style, also--or at least what little I've just seen of it between the tutorial and your icon. I do love a good realism/cartoon blend (that isn't blasted ANIME), and there just aren't enough unique styles any more--everyone's finding a style they like and not deviating at all.
Anyway. That's enough of my ranting. BUT YES. DOGS.

I love to watch anime, but I really don't like drawing it (and I suck at it like hell). And I think drawing anime is.. well EVERYBODY draws anime.
Even though many people draw dogs/other animals you can still be alot different (although I see my art copied all the time >_>

'|D Ah! I always drew the back legs like the ones in the second example. I never got to make my dog paws to look like...well, dog paws. xD; They mostly end up looking like cat paws.

aww so cute =^-^= I'm not a big step-by-step person, I get a million of those books because I draw on e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g and everyone thinks I that's what I want so I always skip to the last step and copy it there ^^ I love your explanation of paws and eyes ^^ your doggies are so cute ^^
