Issue 10, Page 17.Since it's not much of a mystery, let's welcome a new character to the comic-- SCOURGE THE HEDGEHOG. Or according to my Tumblr, "Dia de los Muertos Scourge". Alternately, he was gonna say "I got a bone to pick with you" but I was afraid the universe might implode if I used a joke that bad.
This is gonna be fun.

Not sure if this makes Scourge more horrifying than he was already, or if I'm grateful that at least this design for him doesn't suck.
Anyway, awesome page. You managed to make Scourge look cool, which is a hell of an achievement considering what you had to work with. And he appears to have Anarchy Beryls stuck in his body, which is probably why he's a walking corpse and not just a straight up corpse. Or it's Mephiles possession or something, because he had that crystal thing going on as well. The best part is that you can really make people guess why he ended up a corpse with magic rocks stuck in his skin, and keep them guessing, since the guy is such an ass that there is no single character that either doesn't already want him dead, or will do eventually.
I'm starting to wonder just how Archie related this series is. At first, it seemed purely SEGA, but then Nicole showed up. Now, with Scourge here, it's become apparent that it's set in the Archieverse, at least partially. Now I'm wondering... what exactly happened to Nicole to turn her from her canon self into GOTF's surprisingly chipper villainess? AI glitch? Or, considering the recent events in the comic, something to do with Naugus and the fact that the civilians are ungrateful jackasses? Or possibly something to do with Mecha Sally? Hell, I'd be willing to bet that Nicole has Mecha Sally in a cupboard somewhere in that base of hers.

A combo of Scourge and Mephiles...Oh dear heavens I think I love it.
My theory? Positive and Negative Chaos Energies exist. Sonic would be positive, no doubt, so Scourge could be negative. But that's just me

Silver and Amy are actually my favorite couple. Also Shadow and Rouge are high on my list. In the context of GOTF, Sonic and Tikal are up there too.
